# Build the quality loop
Once use is routine, attention fades. Build checks that don't.
Every embedded AI process needs a named owner (usually a manager close to the work), sampling review that starts at 100% and tapers as evidence builds, a stop rule anyone can use, and a "golden set" of test inputs to rerun whenever the vendor updates the tool.
Two habits protect the loop. Verify every number, name, date, and citation before anything leaves the organization. And rotate people back through the task by hand now and then, so reviewers keep the expertise to spot the one output in a hundred that is wrong.
