Phase 3: Extend
# Protect the core of the job
Automate the admin. Protect the judgment and relationships.
Split each role into a core (judgment, relationships, decisions) and a periphery (reporting, data entry, formatting, scheduling). Automate the periphery aggressively and protect the core on purpose.
Watch for the exception trap. If AI takes all the routine cases and leaves people only the hardest ones, the job burns people out. Say out loud what will never be automated.
