Why I built AdoptionLab.AI
Across more than a decade of helping organizations implement change, I kept seeing the same thing. Smart, committed people were handed new tools and new ways of working, then left to figure out the rest on their own. The training was generic. The support faded after launch. The outcomes the work was supposed to deliver quietly slipped away.
GenAI is making this worse, not better. The pace of new tools, prompts, and warnings is faster than anyone can reasonably track. Leaders at small and mid-market companies feel the pressure to act but don't have the staff, budget, or time to sort through the noise. Individual professionals want to build the skills to ship outcomes with these tools but can't tell which advice is signal and which is hype.
I started AdoptionLab.AI to give both groups a clear path forward.
The work I do hasn't changed — frame the problem, align the people, deliver the outcome, make it stick. The toolkit has. GenAI is a powerful new tool, but it's a tool, not the outcome. AdoptionLab.AI brings the fundamentals of change and continuous improvement to the AI moment.
My background is built for this work. Six years at Duke Energy assessing at-risk programs, aligning stakeholders, and getting stalled initiatives back on track, including a document management rollout to more than 10,000 employees. Before that, two and a half years coaching ten behavioral health nonprofits across New Hampshire on quality improvement under an Affordable Care Act grant. Earlier, federal management consulting at Accenture.
The pattern across all of it: I join complex efforts midstream, figure out what's actually going on, and translate it into a practical plan people can act on. That's the same work AdoptionLab.AI does now, focused on outcome delivery in the AI moment.
