Engagements
AI adoption, scoped and delivered.
Project-based engagements for small and mid-market leaders. Defined scope, defined deliverables, transparent pricing. Senior expertise without the firms-above-you price tag.
Built for the missing middle
Most AI consulting firms either chase Fortune 500 budgets or sell low-touch tools to small businesses. Small and mid-market companies (50–500 employees) sit in the gap. Big enough to feel real AI pressure. Small enough to be ignored by the firms above.
This is the market AdoptionLab.AI is built for.
"95% of AI pilots fail. The technology is rarely why. Adoption, governance, and prioritization are."
A proven path forward
Every engagement is structured around the AI Adoption Scaffold: five phases that move your organization from exploration to transformation. Not a generic framework. A practical methodology built from real adoption work.
1
Explore
Map the landscape. Identify where AI creates real value for your team.
2
Experiment
Run structured pilots with documented results and clear success criteria.
3
Extend
Scale what works across teams and functions.
4
Embed
Build AI into how work gets done — not just done alongside it.
5
re-Envision
Redesign strategy and structure around new AI capabilities.

Start a conversationHow we work
Part-time, on purpose.
These are part-time engagements. You're getting senior, focused expertise on a defined scope, not a junior consultant assigned full-time to bill against your budget.
Hours guide the work, not the bill.
Engagements are scoped to deliverables and value, not billable hours. The time ranges shown help both sides plan around the level of effort and the rhythm of the work. Hours may shift as we move through each phase. The deliverables and the outcome they support do not.
Engagements often include Belts.
When team capability building is part of the scope, we use the GenAI Belt program as the structured backbone, not a separate purchase.
Policy work is facilitative, not legal.
The AI Policy & Governance Sprint researches applicable frameworks (NIST AI RMF, state AI legislation, industry-specific guidance), facilitates stakeholder conversations, and produces a draft policy that captures the decisions made through that process. The draft must be reviewed and approved by your legal counsel, compliance function, and applicable governance bodies before adoption. AdoptionLab.AI does not provide legal advice.
