Engagements

Outcomes first. Capability that stays.

Time-boxed sprints and coaching packages that move a stated outcome forward and leave your team able to keep going. We coach and facilitate. Your team does the work. AI is one tool we bring to the table, not the answer to every question.

How we frame the work

Outcomes drive the work.

We start from the outcome you need to move, then design the engagement around it. The right path might be process improvement, change management, governance work, generative AI, or some combination. Engagements help you diagnose which.

Sprints, not retainers.

Every package is time-boxed with a defined scope and a clear end. Fractional AI Outcome Leadership is the one longer-running option, and even there the explicit goal is developing an internal successor.

Capability is the success metric.

We measure ourselves by whether your team can sustain and grow the work after we step away. Real AI fluency is built by working through real outcomes, not by being handed deliverables.

AI Pilot Sprint

8 weeks · ~18 to 25 partner-team hrs/wk · ~140 to 200 facilitator hrs total

Outcome: Run an end-to-end pilot on a specific workflow, with your team doing the build.

Your team walks away with: a working pilot, build-ready BRDs, change management artifacts, and a documented case study your team can repeat without us.

$40,000 to $80,000 fixed

Or: outcome-linked pricing. $30,000 base plus a $15,000 to $25,000 success fee tied to a measurable outcome agreed before kickoff. Same scope, same deliverables. The success fee shifts when value is shown, not when work is delivered. Available when the target outcome can be measured from existing baseline data.

AI Opportunity Sprint

4 to 6 weeks · ~10 to 14 partner-team hrs/wk · ~55 to 85 facilitator hrs total

Outcome: Decide which path will actually move a stated outcome, with a prioritized backlog and 3 to 5 implementation-ready briefs.

Your team walks away with: a prioritized opportunity backlog, briefs ready for kickoff, and the framing your team uses to triage future opportunities on its own.

AI is on the table, and so are process improvement, change management, and other quality-improvement approaches when they better serve the outcome. Diagnosing which is part of the work.

Specialized sprints

AI Policy & Governance Sprint

4 to 6 weeks · ~50 to 75 facilitator hrs total

Outcome: A defensible, practical AI policy your leadership can actually adopt.

Your team walks away with: a draft policy framework (red lines and approved use), employee guidelines, customer disclosure templates, a communication plan, and a leadership team that has worked through the trade-offs together.

Facilitative, not legal. Your counsel, compliance function, and applicable governance bodies sign off before adoption.

$12,000 to $25,000

AI Change Management Sprint

6 to 8 weeks · ~80 to 120 facilitator hrs total

Outcome: Move a shipped AI initiative from "deployed" to "actually used."

Your team walks away with: stakeholder analysis, communication plan, role-based enablement, resistance plan, and the reinforcement metrics your team uses to keep the initiative on track.

$20,000 to $40,000

Coaching and facilitation packages

Promptathon

4 to 6 weeks elapsed · ~18 to 28 facilitator hrs total

$12,000 to $25,000

Outcome: A structured, on-site team event that builds practical AI fluency on real work problems.

Your team walks away with: a one-day on-site event with prep and debrief, a backlog of team-developed prompt patterns, and a planning session that converts outputs into next steps.

Best as a kickoff for a larger engagement.

Executive Engagement & Communication

4 to 6 weeks elapsed · ~30 to 60 facilitator hrs total

$10,000 to $25,000

Outcome: Translate AI strategy and sector pressures into a board-ready briefing your leadership can actually use to make decisions.

Your team walks away with: a long-form executive briefing tailored to your organization (peer scan, risk matrix, strategic questions, near-term decisions), an underlying source register, and the facilitation patterns your team uses to produce these on its own.

Facilitative, not advisory. Your leadership owns the strategy. We bring the structure, the pattern recognition, and the artifact discipline.

See an example: NH Food Bank board briefing demo (demonstration only, prepared to show capability).

Establish AI Baseline

~20 facilitator hrs total

$3,000

Outcome: Measure current AI tool use and team readiness so future improvement is measurable.

Your team walks away with: a structured survey of current AI use, a culture and readiness read across key teams, and an executive summary with a prioritized list of gaps to address first.

On-site AI sandbox

2 to 6 weeks elapsed · ~20 to 60 facilitator hrs · Add-on to a sprint

$5,000 to $20,000 incremental

Outcome: A physical or hybrid space where your team can explore AI on its own time.

Your team walks away with: a designed walk-through experience, prompted brainstorming artifacts, and curated tool stations.

Client provides the technology, equipment, and on-site technical support. AdoptionLab.AI designs the systems, content, sandbox environments, and walk-through experience.

How we work

We coach. Your team does the work.

We bring the structure, the facilitation, and senior pattern recognition. The partner team makes the calls and ships the work, because that is the only way the capability stays after we leave.

AI is one tool of several.

Process improvement, change management, governance, and quality-improvement methods are part of the toolkit. We use whichever combination actually serves the outcome you have stated.

Hours guide the work, not the bill.

Engagements are scoped to deliverables and value, not billable hours. The time ranges shown help both sides plan around the level of effort and the rhythm of the work. Hours may shift as we move through each phase. The deliverables and the outcome they support do not.

Time-boxed by design.

Engagements are sprints with a defined scope and a clear end. Fractional AI Outcome Leadership is the one longer-running option, and even there the goal is developing an internal successor. We work toward leaving.

Policy work is facilitative, not legal.

We research applicable frameworks (NIST AI RMF, state AI legislation, industry-specific guidance), facilitate the stakeholder conversations, and produce a draft. Your legal counsel, compliance function, and governance bodies sign off before adoption.

Most sprints include AdoptionLab.AI GenAI Belts as part of the work to help deliver lasting outcomes. Belt enrollments for the participating team (typically around a dozen members) are covered within the engagement price.

Two ways to start.
